Coolmath Games - Math and thinking games, puzzles and fun for kids of all ages

(You need to use Internet Explorer for this one.)

See how you do in this wonderful game of skill and logic.
Try to move all the disks onto another pole. The trick is, you can only move one disk at a time and you must follow size order (a bigger disk can't go on a smaller disk).

Sure, you might be able to do it... But can you do it in the minimum number of moves possible?

There's a really cool pattern for the minimum number of moves. Of course, it has to do with how many disks you are working with: 3 or 4 or 5 and so on.
Can you figure it out? Here's the answer.

Good luck!
